THE ROSEWOOD THIEVES

ARTIST / BAND: THE ROSEWOOD THIEVES
SONG (MP3): LOS ANGELES
ALBUM: FROM THE DECKER HOUSE
FILE UNDER: Folk Rock / Blues / Country
LABEL: V2
INFO: There was no television, no internet, no phone and no food or water at the Decker house. The five-acre landscape had a small cattle farm on one side and tiny trailer homes on another. When The Rosewood Thieves weren't retiling the kitchen or clearing out old deer carcasses from the barn, they would gather in the living room each evening for five weeks to write and rehearse. Jordan says taking a break from the hustle and flow of New York City was exactly what they needed. They didnt seem to mind that the heat wasnt on most of the time and that the pipes were freezing nearly every other day. "The living room space was the best spot it had nice hardwood floors, a rather warm fireplace, and a small gray cat with half of a tail" says then neighbor now tour manager David Watson.
