Lykke Li

ARTIST / BAND: Lykke Li
ALBUM (mp3): The lost sessions vol. 1
FILE UNDER: Indie Pop, electroacustic,
INFO: I'd thought I'd give you this to put in your little players, either stick it in your ears or play it loud when the lights are low, mind weary and days rainy.

Remember; life is a process, no feeling is final.

There is no end and no beginning.

Yours truly always,

Lykke Li

PS: If you like it you are welcome to spread it on those little Internet waves. Maybe send it like a little gift or a kindly flu filled kiss. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. VOL . 1 ( !!!!!)

PACIFICUV

Longplay 2 in discography by

ARTIST / BAND: PACIFICUV
SONG (MP3): Funny Girl
ALBUM: WEEKENDS
FILE UNDER:
LABEL: Mazarine
INFO: pacificUV was formed in the late 1990’s in Athens, Georgia. Half the band wanted to sound like a psychedelic Jesus and Mary Chain tripping on Nyquil, while the other half wanted to play one chord for 45 minutes to determine its color. Somehow, what emerged from these disparate goals was their critically acclaimed, 4 years in the making, self-titled debut album, pacificUV that Rolling Stone called a “masterpiece”. The perfect mixture of noise and melody, the first L.P. was a sprawling ambient landscape that revealed a myriad of influences, from shoegaze to 60’s rock, to slow core to post-rock. read more from the source...

ALBUM: Planet High School
FILE UNDER: electronic
LABEL: Ghostly International
INFO:I know it’s electronic music,” Brian Lindgren says, “but sometimes I feel like an old-timey traveling musician with an M-Audio Trigger Finger instead of a guitar.” As Mux Mool, Lindgren has been criss-crossing the country by himself for years, collecting records, loops, and samples, and rocking parties in towns both large and boondock-small. Lindgren is a self-confessed nerd to the bone, an incurable doodler, a Star Trek: The Next Generation fan; he lives on energy drinks and barely sleeps, spending his days working on music and his nights absorbing Internet memes by the hard-drive load. Mux Mool’s homespun electro hip-hop is the product of an introverted mind, an extroverted imagination, and a bottomless cultural appetite
