Info: Amanda grew up in Syracuse, NY. From the age of six she received classical piano training and later went on to explore almost every musical endeavour offered by her school Ð marching bands, musicals, choirs, jazz ensembles...At 15 she decided to start writing her own songs. Amongst the avid fans of her first, self-produced CD are a. o. Dashboard Confessional's Chris Carrabba and Jonah Matranga (Onelinedrawing). Together with these and other emo/hardcore/punk rock bands Amanda has played countless of live shows and attracted the attention of New York-based label Immigrant Sun who went on to release last year's "The Places You Dwell".This year, besides recording "Daily News", she has already toured Canada, Europe and the East Coast of the US.
