INFO: Southerly began in June of 2003, as many projects do, on an Otari four track reel-to-reel in bedrooms and basements, releasing short runs of hand packaged cassette tapes on singer/songwriter Krist Krueger's previous imprint (dharmakayamusic/DKM). In August of 2003, faced with a decision to either renew his apartment lease or hit the road and tour full time, Krueger chose to hit the vast North American highways, learning the ropes as he went.
