INFO: n order to capture the sonic quality of old Jamaican recordings, San Francisco’s Extra Classic recorded the tunes on their forthcoming full length all-analog. This need for authenticity got the attention of Los Angeles-based Manimal Vinyl (Sister Crayon, Papercranes, Warpaint, etc), who signed the band after hearing the album. The end result is the forthcoming full length Your Light Like White Lightning, Your Light Like A Laser Beam, out September 27th on cd, digital, and double gatefold vinyl. All songs on the album are recorded on 8-track tape along with vintage recording equipment from the 60’s and 70’s.
