INFO: Based in Austin, Texas, the band’s beginnings can be traced back to a barn outside of Waco, Texas where Cody Ground began to home record songs with keyboards, samples, saxophones, and other bells and whistles some time around 2000. These songs became the album Forecast a Brainstorm in 2003. After a few solo shows played, Loxsly evolved into a collaborative effort. Two albums later, they are releasing the Flashlights EP. Drawing on influences such as Spoon and Beulah, their new EP is releasing on August 5th, 2008 along with a small tour to support.
