INFO: Grammy Award Winner with the band Dirty Vegas, Singer/Songwriter Steve Smith has taken 2 years away, to record his first Solo Album. He moved from his native London England to Massachusetts to find the inspiration to finally achieve his dream. Recorded at the legendary Camp Street Studios (Formerly Fort Apache) many Musicians of all genre’s and styles came to play on Steve’s Album, including Anthony Saffery (Cornershop/Beck) , Actor Jon Savage (Deer Hunter/Hair), Terry Barber a counter-tenor from the NYSO, Jay Ungar the principal violinist for James Horner (Titanic/Legends of the Fall) and Rob Swift (X-ecuitioners/Quincy Jones). The result is a collection of songs that blend folk/rock and electronica, and Steve’s craft of songwriting that fuses all those styles together.
