INFO: When the Swedish website musiklandet.se reviewed The Mary Onettes debut EP “make me last” in 2005, they wrote: “ the title track “make me last” is a demonstration on how to attach emotions on a record”. They couldn’t be more right. An obsession with making relevant songs mixed with equal parts of despair and hope has since 2001 been the main goal for the Mary Onettes. Signing with Sony/Bmg in 2005 and being dumped the same year after the release of “Make me last EP” didn’t really change anything. Instead of grieving the music industry, its lack of interest and break even mentality, the band, together with long time friend Poplars started building a music studio in the heart of Swedish town Göteborg and has since then been recording what will probably be their debut album.
