INFO: DFA, headed by LCD Soundsystem main man James Murphy and British producer Tim Goldsworthy, will give special treatments to Gorillaz, The Blues Explosion, Le Tigre and others on the two different versions of The DFA Remixes — Chapter 1: a single CD featuring nine tracks and two vinyl records with five songs over four sides. The second chapter in the series is expected to be released in the late summer and contain revised versions of tracks from the likes of Goldfrapp, Nine Inch Nails and The Rapture. Also keep your dancing eyes open for new DFA releases by LCD Soundsystem, The Juan Maclean, Black Dice and others later this year.
