Mico was formed in 1998 by John and Troy in Banff, Alberta, following the dissolution of John's previous band, Red Fisher. Their debut CD "Standing Inside A Shadow" came out on Edmonton label, Does Everyone Stare? in 2001. Mico underwent a series of member and instrument changes following the release of their second album "Outside the Unbearable Grows" (G7 Welcoming Committee) in June 2003, but has solidified the lineup, and is better than ever.
