INFO: Lille is Grace Bellury, an eighteen year old songstress from Atlanta, GA. Born a poor asian boy, Grace accompanied his father and three sisters to America, where they sailed on a ship carrying spices to every corner of the earth. He was the friend of every swarthy sailor and sat up late at night in the cabins below the deck, the warm lantern glow radiating off the roughened yet kindly faces, spinning stories of exotic girls from every continent and exploits worthy of a Conrad novel. The sailors constructed papooses made from sturdy rope for Grace and his small sisters and they hung suspended from the ballast every night, sleeping peacefully

INFO: Coming from a musically eclectic family gave Grace a launching pad into the world of all things melodic and whimsical. She grew up singing Beatles songs on her father's lap, and listening to him endlessly tap out melodies on an old piano until she drifted to sleep.  She took up the mandolin after her first heartbreak, and the ukulele after her second, finding strange beauty in the melancholy nature of brokenness. After a few years of writing songs and melodies she began to play occasional shows for small audiences. In the fall of 2009 she signed onto Whale Heart Records, the home of Pacific Theater, Duchess Leo, and Little Horn. Tall Shoulders is her first EP.

INFO: Penny Hill is an alter ego of Norman, Oklahoma's Hilary Pitchlynn, but shhh... don't tell anyone. Hesitant to ever step on a stage, Penny wrote songs late at night in her bedroom long before ever letting anyone in. Her poetic lyrics, wandering melodies, and penetrating vocals create songs that are somehow larger than their component parts. A self-taught guitarist, Penny Hill is not interested or motivated by theory, she prefers to just let the instrument speak.
