Info: The Young Republic formed during the fall of 2004 in Boston, MA. All nine members enrolled at the same music school and met with in weeks of commencement. They started rehearsing and writing songs and before the semester was over, they performed for a few friends and schoolmates in the cafeteria. As first shows go, it went well enough. Their school wasn’t really crazy about the new band and still isn’t today. Regardless, The Young Republic felt accomplished and kept practicing a couple times a week, excited about the possibilities of more shows in the future.
