Info: Texas born Votolato formed Waxwing, a nationally acclaimed punk rock band, in 1996. Common to any prolific and diverse songwriter, Rocky discovered that his writing began moving into new territories – some of which proved too delicate for his more bombastic efforts with Waxwing. When Rocky felt it was appropriate to find a fresh outlet for this new material that fell outside of his traditional rock approach, he recruited the help of some of Seattle's finest musicians – including players in the bands Red Stars Theory, Sharks Keep Moving, The Blood Brothers, And Rosie Thomas – and the production of engineer Matt Bayles (Pearl Jam, Botch, Murder City Devils, Hayden).
